Our Process
Building a great home starts with inspiration. Perhaps you need to accommodate a growing family, utilise an unused block of land, knock down, or finally build that long-anticipated dream home.
Whatever the reason, Adelaide Designer Homes will work with you to realise your goal.
The Design Process
Our process begins with a one-on-one meeting, where you can talk to us about all your requests and requirements for your new home. You will then be introduced to our designer who has exceptional measure of creativity, innovation and technical input to create your initial concept plan.
Once you have approved the initial concept plan, we will start fixing costs, by undertake soil testing to determine footing design, and any other engineering requirements.
Once cost is determined and fixed, we will take you through the contract requirements then lodge your plan with council while you commence your selection process.
The Exciting Part
Next, it’s a meeting with our suppliers, selection consultants, and our in-house design coordinators who will sit down with you to view what you’ve selected, ensure everything matches, and complete any final finishing touches.
Construction then begins with access firstly to our construction manager, and then to our site supervisor who will look after the final fit out.
When completed, you’ll be taken for a walk-through with the supervisor and Tony Christopher —Adelaide Designer Homes’ director — to make sure you’re happy with the final product.
The Follow Up
Adelaide Designer Homes prides itself on attention to detail. To that end, we follow up with you after three months to confirm that all is okay, and to touch up any oversights during our three month maintenance period.
